A Magical Tip To Fight With Procrastination…
“Eat that frog with Pomodoro”. What does it mean and what is a Pomodoro? So, let’s read and understand what is a Pomodoro.
The Pomodoro technique is developed by Francesco Cirillo. It is a time management technique. The idea behind this technique is to increase the productivity of a task in a limited time and understanding that we have a limited time to do anything and we should not waste out time getting distracted by time wasters.
Following are the steps to follow this technique;
1.Pick one task.
2.Avoid all the distractions. (Mobile notifications etc.)
3.Set a timer of 25 minutes and work on the task.
4.Stay focused on the task during these 25 minutes.
5.Once the timer rings, take a break of 4 to 5 minutes and relax.
6.Repeat the process four times and after that relax for 15 minutes and start again.
I also followed the technique while I was doing my online course of Amal Academy. I found it very useful to complete the tasks with more productivity in lesser time. The distractions I faced were;
1.What’s going on outside?
2.Check WhatsApp. Maybe any one texted me.
3.Mother distracted me.
4.I faced these distractions but I avoid that and focused on my task.
Key Takeaways:
I learned how to manage time, increase productivity and to remain focused towards your work. Indeed, it is a very useful technique and I find it very interesting. I will follow this technique to be more effective and efficient at my work.
