Sub-Standard Schools Are A Reason For Destroying Future The Of Kids…

You will surely be heard about the phrase “EDUCATION IS FOR EVERYONE”. I think it should be phrased as “QUALITY EDUCATION FOR EVERYONE”. People need to learn and know about the worth of quality education. We educate our kids so they will be successful in future. They can support their families. But what if they are not educated well. It is a big question mark on their future as well as future of the nation.

In Pakistan, there are so many substandard schools which don’t even pass the basic standard of education. School Management hires matric pass/fail teachers to teach students and the quality of education is extremely poor that a 4th grader can’t read English of 1st grader. How these students will be able to be successful.

I was assigned to find a problem in my surroundings that I find very critical. Subconsciously, I always thought of this problem but always forgot. Now I seriously want to address the problem which is “ Sub-Standard Schools Are A Reason For Destroying Future Of The Kids. They are providing poor quality education. We should set up an institute to help these students”. The problem is very severe if we think about it. These schools are everywhere who are a major reason to destroy minds and future of kids. In my area, there six to seven schools. These schools are the ones that I really want to shut down permanently. Because these schools have no environment, facilities and quality education.

Actually, I have been teaching students for the past seven years. I taught many many students of these schools as well as students of a normal school. There is a huge difference between them. If I can list down some, confidence, reading skills, writing skills, observation, creativity etc. Also, mindsets are totally different.

I prepared a questionnaire to seek information from people living in different areas to know what they think about this problem. Due to lack of time, I asked my friends, neighbors and family. I asked 15 people to fill that form, among them 5 are tutors. I almost got the responses I expected. I asked these questions;

1. Do you think substandard schools are a reason for destroying the future of kids?
2. If Yes/No, then why?
3. Do you think they pass the standard of education?
4. Do you students of these schools can compete with students of normal schools?

These were four basic questions that I asked. Summarizing the responses, I will say all of them answered in affirmation that these are a reason for destroying the future of kids. And the reason behind it was the same that they do not provide quality education and just want fees to fill their pockets. As for standard, many of them said ‘yes’ and some said ‘maybe’.

So, I got information through this project that there are people who seriously notice this problem. I am thinking of some solutions to the problem. May I finalize a solution soon and implement it so my society may get some benefit of it. In sha Allah!!!!
